Sticky Windows
Have you ever wanted to minimize OSX windows without needing to rummage through the dock to bring them back up? Now you can.
I found a fantastic program called Sticky Windows that will allow you to minimize programs to any side of the screen. Just drag it to the edge and away it goes, leaving your screen clutter free.
Of course, you could always minimize your programs to the Dock, but what if you want easy tabs without messing with the Dock itself? In fact, what if you’re the type who prefers to hide their dock but you’re only working with two programs, one of which you’d like minimized without needing to bring up the dock to retrieve it? Sticky Windows is the answer.
Being that I tend to prefer the way OSX natively handles things like minimization, I wasn’t sure how I’d feel about Sticky Windows. I’m happy to say that I like it and use it in tandem with OSX’s minimization feature. It’s as if it’s the feature that Apple never thought to include but works so well that it doesn’t replace but enhances an already robust operating system.
Do yourself a favor and hope on over to the Sticky Windows website and check it out. I’m sure you’ll like what you see.
